Coon Creek campground is highly praised for its cleanliness, well-maintained facilities, and beautiful views of the lake. Visitors appreciate the friendly staff and the peaceful atmosphere, making it a great place for families and relaxation. Some concerns include the need for improved access to fishing spots, noise management during quiet hours, and minor maintenance issues, but overall, guests express a desire to return.

Weather did not cooperate much. Anytime spent with friends and family is a good time.

Very crowded not the best camping experience. Camp sites are to close to one another. Hardly no trees for shade. Bathrooms are okay but the shower heads didn't give out the water needed for a shower.

If safety is important I would choose another campground the people in charge showed that they care less!

Everything went ok. Was very dusty since there was construction going at this time. Spot was cleaned of trash and grill ash was removed.

Love the updates to the roads. Very well done. Now if the bathrooms could be updated with fans so they aren’t hot boxes in the summer.

Very nice, clean, well kept, quiet campground. Plenty of sites on the water, well spaced. Nice bathrooms/showers also. Will definitely be back.

Coon creek park is great, the park is clean and very well-kept, the lake on the other hand is very low at this time of year, but the park is very nice! Russell the gate attendant at Coon Creek on Kaw Lake is the best, he is Very attentive to the needs of the campers there!

The sites were well maintained and very easy to level out our trailer. We stayed in site 15 and it was next to a very large field that was fully grass and trimmed and led to the playground which was also very nice. The fire pit was easy to manage and a good distance from the concrete table and the campsite. The bathroom stalls were all private and had their own shower within them if needed. Everything was better than expected and we will go back. We took our hammocks and hooked them up to the posts of the canopy that covered the nice concrete picnic table! We really enjoyed it.
