What Guests Are Saying
Sarge Creek campground features friendly and informative hosts, clean facilities, and well-maintained grounds, making it a pleasant destination for campers. Overall we had a great time camping. We had light rain about 3 days, but it didn’t hinder us from enjoying getting together with our friends. The shaded area was wonderful. Campsites we’re very nice. The only thing I wasn’t pleased with was the picnic tables were on the back side of our campsites on the side we were on.

The Sarge Campgrounds had water problems each time we were there this year, I was also wondering if it was appropriate for someone to post a sigh and flowers and flag on a tree for a memorial for their friend that passed because the site was "their favorite"? It seems kind of strange to me. It was there each time we were at the campgrounds this last year.

You need to work on the boat ramp...Can't load a boat because it's to shallow..That sand bar on the one side is no good..

Wish they would get the water level up so you don't have to drive so far to put a boat in.

We stayed in the equestrian camp. All was good but there were lots of stickers, need to spray the grass! Also the trails needed to be marked much better! Good dump station, clean lots. Easy registration online.

This place a very good location, however, there is a HUGE problem. SOMETHING HAS TO BE DONE ABOUT THE SANDBURS!! They are EVERYWHERE. My kids call them "porcupines." Because of this, our expirience was just "ok." We spent most of our camping trip pulling stickers from shoes, pants, sleeping bags, and socks. We WILL NOT be camping here again!!

We had a great time at Sarge Creek camp ground on Kaw Lake. The sites were extremely clean and well maintained. The bath houses and shower houses were always clean and the hot water and heated shower rooms were a great surprise! We will be back!

We had site 46 and our friends had site 48 next-door. Both were very nice, partially sunny partially shaded, nice and long and level with room for your tow vehicle. No issues with the water, however the electric breakers do trip at night. We have a power surge protector and it would not work unless we took that off of our electrical line. The electric needs to be updated. Additionally, on Friday night there was one campsite that had very loud music and partying but there is no one enforcing quiet hours. It went on well past midnight. However, it was only an issue for that one night - those same people were there for the following three nights and were quiet. Overall it was a great stay and we would return but wish they would update the electrical.
