What Guests Are Saying

Sarge Creek campground features friendly and informative hosts, clean facilities, and well-maintained grounds, making it a pleasant destination for campers. Many guests enjoyed the peaceful environment and nearby recreational opportunities, such as fishing and swimming. The Weber’s are a great host at the campgrounds. The facilities need a serious up grade. It’s not 1970 anymore. Time to upgrade the electric to 50 amp at least. The boat ramp needs some attention as well

Sarge is a very nice and clean campground. I can’t say anything about the bathroom or shower’s because we have a trailer. Camp host are very nice and helpful. Beautiful scenery and the fishing was great.

We lost water and we continue to kick breakers. The electric needs to be updated. 30 amp service to each site isn’t efficient to use for most campers. We are a frequent camper at Sarge creek.I would like to se an update to 50amp service on the larger campsites. I woul be willing to pay more for a campsite with 50 amp service

We were so excited for our camping trip with friends, and ended up being extremely disappointed. We got to our site Thursday, and everything hooked up. By that night around 10, we had absolutely NO water. The public bathrooms / showers were locked as well. Come to find out it was a water issue and the whole campgrounds had NO water. We completely understand that it was not the campsites issues, and had to do with the water company. But we were NEVER made aware of the situation, or given information. Instead our water was just shut off. We do not have a holding tank on our camper, so we were completely screwed. Then told we would have it back first thing Saturday morning, and did NOT. The park ranger volunteers were extremely nice, and understood our frustration. No complaints with them!!! Just the simple fact we were NOT informed of the issues and not even an offer to compromise with us. Starting Thursday, I made MULTIPLE calls into the number given to us, left MULTIPLE voicemails asking to have a call returned. It is now Tuesday, and after calling every extension possible I finally reached someone in frustration. I explained our situation to them, and they said all they could do is issue a refund if we file with recreation.gov. Since our reservation has passed we cannot do that. So now, nothing can be done about our stay. This is AFTER calling multiple times Thursday / Friday / Saturday / Sunday AND Monday.

Aside from our water issues, the campsites were clean. The volunteer rangers were extremely nice.

Just very disappointed in how the water issue was handled by all involved.

We experienced a lot of no electricity. When we tried to inquire about it the Ranger was in a real foul mood. He told another camper that was with us and I quote. I don’t give a shit right now. We were trying to get a form to explain the disappointment with the electrical problem. We couldn’t leave our campsite because we had dogs inside.
