Lost Rapids

Lovely location. Wonderful employees in office

Great location, very private and quiet. It is older and many of the spaces seem not to be useable. There is an awesome group pavilion up at the top of the hill. There is barely any cell service so don't expect to stream netflix. It is about 30 min from Broken Bow and about 20 min from Riverman trail rides. It is an open park, no gate or gate house. Go straight to your reserved space.

Other than being very windy camp sites were clean and bathrooms were always clean and stocked over all good times

This is a good location, but be prepared for a few minor issues. Bring plenty of water hose. The west water hookup did not work in March of 2021 (it had frozen and busted). Overall, a good place. If you can set up campers right, you get a good wind block from all directions except the east.

The grass needed to be mowed other then that is was a nice quite place.

Perfect stay. If you love the southeastern feel of Oklahoma but hate the crowd of Broken Bow, this is the place.

We always enjoy Lost Rapids. It’s quiet, peaceful, and hardly ever crowded. The bathrooms are always clean. However, during our last visit everything was very very overgrown and unkempt. Would give a five star review if they would keep the sites mowed and maintained better.

Lost Rapids may have been a very nice place to camp at one time. But, now the campsites are overgrown. Maintenance is lacking here. Never saw the camp host. Most of the tent camp sites have little to no shade.

Sites needing mowing and breaker tripped several times during the day.
