Deep Creek Ranch

We had a fantastic stay at Deep Creek Ranch in Sayre, Oklahoma. The location on Route 66 makes it a perfect stop, and everything about the property is great. The bathrooms are clean and well maintained, and the amenities are great including a washer and dryer, which is a huge plus when traveling.
We especially appreciated the dog park, which made this a very pet friendly stop. Easy access in and out, quiet surroundings, and truly great hosts who care about their guests. Highly recommend Deep Creek Ranch for anyone traveling through western Oklahoma or along Route 66.

We camped here in a travel trailer on our way west. Clean, convenient, and the owner was available and helpful. All sites have electricity, water, and sewer hookups.

This campground was very close to I 40 and had some pretty significant road noise when standing outside and slightly noticeable when inside the rig. Other than that, it was perfect for our overnight stay. Had about about 10 sites nicely laid out level and some shade trees. Rocking chairs in front of the laundry/bathroom/shower We’re very nice. Pay by Venmo with the address of the owner in the laundry room on the marker board. Also, you can put cash in a cash box. This is a harvest host campground with eggs available in the laundry room. Would stop again if we were passing by. My reason for rating a four stars is the shower and toilet are in a single room allowing only one person to use the facility at a time. I suppose if all the campsites were full, this could be a bit of an issue.

Deep Creek Ranch provided an exceptional experience that we'll be reminiscing about for years to come. Pulling in with our motorcoach and toad was remarkably easy, which set the tone for a hassle-free stay. The availability of full hookups made our setup seamless and comfortable, ensuring we had everything we needed right at our fingertips.

One of the standout features was the rocking chairs on the porch, which added a delightful nostalgic touch that made us feel right at home. And Burl’s warm hospitality truly elevated our visit—he rustled up a dozen fresh eggs for us, a gesture that we deeply appreciated.

Despite its proximity to I-40, we were pleasantly surprised to find the road noise was barely noticeable, allowing us to enjoy peace and quiet during our stay. Deep Creek Ranch strikes a perfect balance between convenience and charm, and we can’t wait to return!

Deep Creek Ranch was wonderful + so peaceful! The host was super responsive. Full hookups were such a bonus. Our dogs enjoyed the leash free dog area. Absolutely beautiful views at sundown, as well as in the morning!! Thank you!
