We LOVE the campground. Annually, my whole family kind of takes over the loop by the bathrooms (spots 1, 2, 3 and 16). The only issue we have is the road leading to spot 16 and the pothole that's in it. It needs to be rebuilt with a drainage pipe as the dirt underneath washed away allowing the road to collapse. Getting any kind of tow vehicle through there let alone a camper is near impossible. I know this is first world problems and really nothing to complain about but it would be nice if the spots were upgraded to 50 amp - which is industry standard for all motorhomes now and most towable campers. In the Oklahoma heat with AC's running constantly it's never fun to come back to a 110 degree camper because the breaker tripped. I wouldn't even mind paying more per day if the spots were upgraded to 50a. Outside of those two minor inconveniences, we stay here annually because of the layout, the views and the ease of access to the lake. The rangers are all very nice and helpful and the volunteers are great too. Nobody takes anything too serious and as long as you act like an adult you are pretty much left alone aside from the occasional drive by and wave.

We had campsite 54. Probably my top 3 in the whole campsite. Easy access to the water, gorgeous water front view and close, but not to close to the dock.

We normally have a great time, but this time we camped next to a pile of brush that they decided to set on fire so all the surrounding campsites got smoked for the 3 days and my daughter hooked up a water hose and put it
out I have breathing issues as it is that made it very unpleasant.

My wife and I took our grandkids on July 10th - 12th. We were in slot 32. Great back-in parking. Nobody next to us which made it great. The site backs up to the lake. Steps going down to the water. The pat I didn’t like was there wasn’t any shade but we did ok. We have T-Mobile and usually had 2 and sometimes 3 bars. We stream in our 5th Wheel and no issues.

Beautiful spot. No septic at spot. Water is shared and across the driveway, take a long hose.

The campground and facilities were very clean and well kept. The campsites were a little sloped but easily tolerated and the camper was leveled easily. Backing in could be a little tricky but not too bad. Most spots had shared water with some spots requiring hose covers to cross the roads. The shoreline is very steep and rocky with few beaches. But overall a beautiful place.
