No actual swimming beach nearby only 1 beach at the whole lake and it's 20 mins away. Seemed nice but was overgrown and not maintained like it could or should have been for $20 a night.

Beautiful park. We were just passing through one night on our way to Texas, but we were really impressed with the campground. Really beautiful park. Nice campsite and easy early evening hike down to the lake.

Site was clean and free of debris. Area was extremely quiet, sites are spaced somewhat close but still have a semi private feel, i have AT&T cell service and it was spotty but that’s not what you go for. I could reach emergency services if needed. Camp host is situated just a few sites away. Trash pickup was daily, walked the area several times and it was also well kept and quiet. Bathrooms were clean and well kept.
I had a great site with access to the water which was perfect for me to paddleboard

The sights are large, Good separation from neighbors, all facilities very well maintained and clean! Lake of the Arbuckles is one of Oklahoma’s few clear lakes. We went to just sit in the campground so we didn’t venture out to sight see. The dump station doesn’t have a garden hose hook up so we couldn’t use the black tank spray clean feature - be sure your black tank is completely full when you go to dump it.

Stayed in Buckhorn 53c, we really liked this campsite. We did need to level our camper quite a bit so be prepared for that. It was close to the water, with a view too. The bathrooms were the cleanest campground I’ve ever been in! Access to the Lake was easy from C or D. Highly recommend all the hikes in Chickasaw and the Chickasaw Cultural Center with all the exhibits and displays is a must!! Found a great local spot called Fat Bully’s!
