I’ve camped at Buckhorn several times and had very pleasant experience here but this last time in 80 C was the worst y’all really need to move y’all‘s dumpster out in front of the campsite. We had a bad roach problem there coming from the dumpster and they smell of the dumpster every time somebody opened it to throw trash in it was horrible Move the dumpsters away from the campsites where people are trying to camp

Fantastic experience. Well kept campground and close enough to the springs. We enjoyed ourselves and plan to be back for a longer visit.

We have camped on Buckhorn loop C for over 20 years. The spots are always clean and maintained . We love being able to reserve ahead of time . Favorite campground in southern Oklahoma.

We camped for 3 nights at 047C campsite. The site is secluded with lots of privacy and shade, which made the 4th of July weekend very pleasant. There is a water faucet across the street which made it easy to wash simple dishes. Restrooms and bathrooms were clean with solar heated hot water but little far from the campsite so we drove. The lake access from the campsite is just a few minutes walk. Overall a pleasant experience and highly recommend it

This is the first campsite where someone has taken our personal belongings while we were away. Anyone is allowed to use the showers and this invites the inappropriate people. Protection of the campers should be the priority.

Our stay was awesome except for the raccoon that thought he was boss. The site was spacious, clean and very well kept. The hard packed surface made it a little difficult to drive tent pegs into but overall absolutely worth visiting again and again.

Wonderful place to camp but the raccoons in there natural habitat took over our camp. We counted 7 in our camp all at one time. lol!!! Just make sure you zip your tents up high at night cause they definitely know how to open tents. I absolutely love nature and all the lil critters that go bump in the night. Great family fun and amazing places to swim as well.
