Our stay at 77C was quite nice. If you’re in a longer rv you may have trouble leveling. A ton of the spots on loop C are sloped pretty severe. Very nice campground, and the lake was great. Looking forward to coming back in the future to spend more time.
Make sure to check out Little Niagara Falls, and Travertine Creek for a nice cool swim session. Can’t beat that cold water during the hot summer. Go to Little Niagara during the week day to avoid the weekend crowds.
Phone service for Verizon is patchy.

The road work was a pain and the workers were extremely rude. I did not get a warning about the possibility of being trapped in the campground for a while. Why do road work during a busy time of the season?

Buckhorn Campgrounds and bathrooms are always clean. The swimming area is small. They do not have any sort of seating in the swimming area so make sure you bring chairs and such unless you want to sit on the grass. We spent most of our time in town at the cold springs swimming.

Second time here @ pt 59. Reserved 58 too and had so much fun. It is right off the water, but people who have boats drive them there and are allowed to park them all day and night. The kids had to watch to make sure they didn’t trip over the lines ans anchor. Tried to get in at 58, but hard to get back up the hill and the water is a little deeper. This site is also where everyone comes to swim around the whole campground so people are in and out of your area all day and night as well. We did find a beach at Loop D that we were able to go to to swim and we had so much fun there! The host there is so nice and helpful and assisted us with all of our needs. The walk to the restroom and shower was right up the hill si that was very convenient. There is parking for two cars there, but three could really fit their comfortably. 10/10 would recommend!

We loved the peacefulness and it was relaxing on the water.
The coves were great for our canoes!
We will definitely be camping there again!

We arrived and had no problems finding the campsite our site was clean and mostly all the campgrounds were clean with no trash they did have very accessible trash cans for nothing our trash at the end of the night also the campsites were pretty big I didn't notice that somewhere a little larger than others. The only one issue that I would say that I had is the showers water pressure was not so great and the draining so you're in puddling water but other than that our camp went very smoothly and we would definitely be back again for our fifth year next year.

Spots and drive ways are to tight and uneven for RV’s and Travel Trailers

The campground was nice since there was water and electric. However, the water spigot did leak, just concerned with wasting water. We want to definitely return to this area some day to explore more of the area!
