Good campsite, loved the restrooms, near to the lake and little Niagara Falls. I do wish there was tent sites not nearby the RVs, but it was nice having water and electrical.

The campground is very beautiful, clean and well maintained. The staff are friendly and accommodating. One of the nicest places we’ve camped in Oklahoma, especially within 2 hours of OKC. We’ll definitely be going back!

We reserved our site and looked forward to being there for the first time. Unfotunately the site was extremely difficult to get our 35 ft 5th wheel in the site due to the narrow road and trees too close together. Our second problem was the next door neighbor who brought two extremely large and aggressive German Shepherd's and kept them on a long run line that allowed the dogs to intrude into our space. The campground host did not appear to be concerned with this behavior. We were reserved for three days but after only two, we packed and left a day early. Needless to say, we will not return to this campground.

From Interstate 35, take Exit 55 and drive towards the city of Davis, OK. Once in Davis, go east on Highway 7. Watch for the Chickasaw National Recreation Area signs. For Buckhorn Campgrounds, Pavilion, and Picnic Area, drive approximately 8 mi (8...
From Interstate 35, take Exit 55 and drive towards the city of Davis, OK. Once in Davis, go east on Highway 7. Watch for the Chickasaw National Recreation Area signs. For Buckhorn Campgrounds, Pavilion, and Picnic Area, drive approximately 8 mi (8.1 mi) east of Davis to the only 4 way STOP (Jct Hwy 7 and Hwy 177) in the city of Sulphur. Turn right on Hwy 177 and go approximately 7 mi to Buckhorn Road. Turn right at Buckhorn Road and drive all the way down until you reach your desired location. Follow the directional signs
Highway access
Buckhorn Campground is accessible via Interstate 35, approximately 8 miles from the exit. From there, travelers can take Highway 7 east towards Sulphur and connect to Highway 177.
