Its nice there are so many trees for privacy and level campsites. The bathroom in loop C was nice as well

It was peaceful and quiet. We enjoyed riding our bicycles on the nice trails. We stayed during the week so can not speak how it would be on the weekends. We loved how close we were able to park next to the lake. Also, the sites for the tents for very inviting (flat).

This is a wonderful campground it was nice and clean the restroom was really clean the camp host is really nice I really recommend this place stayed in 88 c it was an excellent camping site. Will be back in the future.

Got cops called on us for dog barking in a pet friendly place. Also got cops called cause music to loud before quiet hour. At 8 pm

From Interstate 35, take Exit 55 and drive towards the city of Davis, OK. Once in Davis, go east on Highway 7. Watch for the Chickasaw National Recreation Area signs. For Buckhorn Campgrounds, Pavilion, and Picnic Area, drive approximately 8 miles (13 km) east of Davis to the only 4 way STOP (Jct Hwy 7 and Hwy 177) in the city of Sulphur. Turn right on Hwy 177 and go approximately 7 miles to Buckhorn Road. Turn right at Buckhorn Road and drive all the way down until you reach your desired location. Follow the directional signs
Buckhorn Campground is accessible via Interstate 35, approximately 8 miles from the exit. From there, travelers can take Highway 7 east towards Sulphur and connect to Highway 177.
