Buckhorn Campground offers clean and well-maintained campsites with good shower facilities and friendly camp hosts, making it a favorite among visitors. Many guests appreciate the beautiful natural surroundings, including the nearby Lake of the Arbuckles, and praise the spacious and shaded sites. While some issues like raccoon disturbances and occasional site leveling challenges were noted, overall experiences are overwhelmingly positive, with many campers expressing their desire to return.

I so enjoy tent camping here! The sites are excellently crafted into the terrain, the water spigots always work, the bathrooms are clean and functional. And then there is the lake! One of Oklahoma's finest, in my opinion. Walk the trail down from Veterans Lake in the afternoon, spend the night, and hike back in the morning...that'll be a good 11 mi workout and a lot of pleasant. Peace!

Beautiful, well kept campgrounds. Loved seeing rangers patrolling frequently through the campgrounds. Made us feel safe and secure. Really enjoyed the amphitheater and Ranger presentations.. Great job all around !

This was the absolute best campsite we have visited in years! Everything was trimmed appropriately for the season yet left natural enough to enjoy. Loved that the bath house was cleaned every day too. We will definitely return!
