We had a fun time. Only downside was upon arriving the power was out. There was no camp host so we called number and reported the electricity problem and we had to leave and get a hotel for the night. I think we should be refunded for a day. We should have been notified about the situation.

Beautiful campground. And Lake of the Arbuckles is a gem. I really like the way the RV sites are laid out. Only problem was that the water supply valve leaked around its shaft any time it was opened.

The campground was very nice and quiet. The park host was so friendly and respectful and very welcoming. The campground was clean. We camped at 85, loop C. It had water and 50 amp electric. The site was easy to back into, nice and wide. It is on a bit of a slope so leveling our trailer was a little tricky. We would stay there again. The deer walked by daily. The only complaint was the hades like temperature during our stay 100+ degrees was intense.

Little Niagra is an awesome swimming hole, especially in the middle of the summer heat. The campsites had plenty shade. During the week very few people were there so it felt very private.
Will come back again.

Nice campground on the reservoir. Could dip in or fish as several were doing. Signage coming in from the SE to electric campground was a bit lacking and the loop also could have used a kiosk showing the full campground, accesses, amenities, Visitor Center. But overall I nice stop on a long road trip.

The campground was excellent! Extremely roomy trailer pads. And the host was very nice. The showers and restrooms were well kept. And price was very reasonable. We would definitely stay in Buckhorn again.
