Buckhorn is always great. Behaved fellow campers, great camp host, we love camping at Buckhorn or anywhere in the Chickasaw Recreation Area.

Buckhorn Campground offers clean and well-maintained campsites with good shower facilities and friendly camp hosts, making it a favorite among visitors. Many guests appreciate the beautiful natural surroundings, including the nearby Lake of the Arbuckles, and praise the spacious and shaded sites. While some issues like raccoon disturbances and occasional site leveling challenges were noted, overall experiences are overwhelmingly positive, with many campers expressing their desire to return.

The campsites in Loop C were attractive and well kept. The C bathhouse was clean and kept up daily.

Nice little lake. Campsites are a little too close for my liking and pitching a tent on concrete/gravel pad is a bit strange but otherwise it is very nice out there. First time camping there so I wasn’t sure what to expect having booked the site unseen. Bathrooms are super nice, probably the best I’ve ever seen at a campsite! The little convenience store about 3 mi out was great too, providing EVERYTHING you might need, including live bait for fishing. Probably not a spot I will camp at in during the peak season but I will definitely be back for fall/winter camping. I really enjoyed it. It was very clean. Kudos!

Very nice place to go and unwind so you can successfully rewind! Loved the quiet, serene location. In February, of course very few were in the area, but the weather cooperated to make it a wonderful stay.

I have camped here every year for about half a decade. I’ve always really enjoyed the campgrounds and the facilities offered. I have no complaints other than the cleanliness of the bathrooms/shower house. Still better than nothing but the cleanliness has declined. Just needs a deep scrub and a fresh coat of paint. That and some insect protection. Other than that I think the quality of the campground is second to none. I will continue to camp buckhorn often.

It was great. The weather was just right being the last of December. It is a very clean park, even the restrooms was very clean. There where several of us there at the park including a lot of tents, so I knew the restrooms were being used regular. We have been going to this park for several years because it is close to home. Just far enough for a good relaxing weekend. The only draw back is it would be nice if they could put sewer hook ups at each camp site. Yes, we will keep going back. Thank you
