Campsite clean and roomy. The public restrooms and showers are the best we have experienced while camping in Oklahoma.

We love The Point campground. The woodsy feel here is great, lots of shade, privacy between camp spots, and it is nice and quiet. The sites are always clean and well kept, we don't us the bath house, but I hear it is well kept. The only thing i would like to see is a boat dock for people camping to keep boats so you don't have to pull out every evening.

If you have a newer RV that is at least 11' tall, you may want to find another location. There are a LOT of branches that will scrape on the road in, the roads in the park, and the sites. If you have an older RV, and/ or you just don't care, then look real carefully at the site you pick. Some are level; some will take 3-4" to level. There must be something wrong with their web site. Only the upper loop sites are shown; however, campers were in the lower loop. The lower loop has real bathrooms. The upper loop has outhouses.
If they trim up the trees, this would be a very nice park. I can even live with the outhouses if they trim the trees. Mostly shady. Wildlife (raccoons). Good power & water.

My rig wouldn't fit in my spot when I got there but after calling a few people they got me another spot quick everyone was very friendly. Also there is so much to do out there a week isn't enough time with all the springs and everything lots of fun tubing down the Springs great place. Definitely would go if you're in that neck of the woods! ;-,

From I-35, take Exit 55 and drive towards the city of Davis, OK. Once in Davis, go east on Highway 7 until you reach the stoplight at Cooper Memorial Road in Sulphur. Turn right on Cooper Memorial Road and drive approximately 8 mi to reach The Point Campground Road. Watch for signage.
Highway access
The Point Campground is accessible from I-35 via Exit 55. The campground can be reached by driving east on Highway 7 after exiting.
Policies & Rules
General
- Check out time is noon CST, check in time is 2:30 PM CST. Guests may check in early if the previous visitor has already left and the campsite has been cleaned.
- Recreational and medical marijuana are not permitted in Chickasaw National Recreation Area at any time.
- In case of emergency, call 911. If you have a non-emergency after hours and no Camp Host is available, the local dispatch number is 580-622-3918.
