The camp site was pretty good. But really does need some maintenance, the grass was some where between 8 and 12 inches high, so we had to stay on the blacktop, no walking in the grassy areas.

Very quiet (although I'm sure that's partially due to the time of year). Certain spots better than others, just like every other park, but none of the elec/water sites are "bad." Random... but at the dump station, your rig will tilt away from the drain, just annoying.

The GPS address that was emailed to me upon confirmation of my reservation contained the wrong address. Evidently it was the mailing addresses for blue bill point and not the physical address So I referred to travel ok for confirmation and their site had an address listed that was a partial match to the middle of Wagner. Husband and I drove around with the camper after a long day of work asking locals and nobody could give us instructions and nobody was answering the phone at blue bill so we headed back...got home at 1130pm. Spoke to attendant at core of engineers next day who said she would put in a request to get it fixed and gave us one night refund.

There was NO BATHROOMS!!! NO SHOWERS!!! Very disappointed. We were not told at the gate. We found out when we were in need of a bathroom.
Or ready to take our showers. We had to walk to the out door toilet, I found it very inconvenient. I thought we should have been told or offered a refund. We could have gone to another park.

we love camping at blue bill on ft gibson lake the people are absolutely wonderful. staff is very friendly . we dont even consider camping anywhere else.
how ever i do wish they would control the lake level better and clear out some of the dead trees on the camp sites as they are dangerous to the campers

This is a no-nonsense park, which is exactly what we needed for our winter stopover. Beware the address listed in Recreation.gov - it's not recognized by Google and you may end up somewhere weird! Similarly, don't just Google it - Google had 2 versions of this campground and got us way off course. It could have been really bad in our 40' rig. (I reported to Google, but who knows what will happen.) The turn by turn directions on recreation.gov were pretty easy to follow, although there is a typo that says to travel south when you should be traveling north, however, it was such an obvious typo that we didn't even flinch.

Really one of our favorite campsites in the state some of the camp sites need work on areas where you park bad drop offs around the pavement! Main reason don’t give it 5 stars is the dump station is close to impossible to use so many things wrong here it is sad. We have got to where when we leave we go to Afton Landing on way home and use it’s dump station to avoid the nightmare of the one here!
