I think we were the first campers at our campsite for the season. The site was super clean and free of any debris. The restrooms were well maintained and BLM staff and volunteers were super helpful. My only recommendation would be to remove locks from the inside of restroom so the public can’t lock them. Both the women’s and men’s doors were locked and the host had to come unlock them. Otherwise, excellent experience!

ELI THE ONLY PARK RANGER LEFT DID AN OUTSTANDING JOB GETTING THE CAMPGRND OPEN AND WELCOMING FOR THE SEASON.....NICE TO FINALLY BE ABLE TO HAVE CAMPFIRE AFTER ALL PAST YEARS OF NO !!!!!

A nice campground. Near the pacific crest trail was very nice. Plenty of firewood to use.( we were there mid June)
Full Lake. Bathrooms could use a lot more attention. Bathrooms were closed at the boat ramp, not good with the number of campers. C loop was closed. We camped there several years ago and if opened would have camped there. No recycle bins.

Directions: From Ashland, Oregon (Interstate-5 Exit 14): Turn on Highway 66 toward Klamath Falls. Follow Highway 66 for 17 mi until you reach the Green Springs Inn. Turn north onto the Bureau of Land Management's East Hyatt Lake Road. Follow the road for approximately 3 mi until you reach the Hyatt Lake Recreation Area. Stay to the right on East Hyatt Lake Road; an entry booth, located at the entrance to the campground, has visitor camping information.
To get to Wildcat Campground and the Equestrian Campground continue past the entrance booth and Hyatt Lake Campground entrance for approximately 2 mi on East Hyatt Lake road and the entrance to Wildcat Campground and the Equestrian Campground will be on the left.
Highway access
Hyatt Lake Recreation Area is accessible via Interstate 5, with the nearest exit being Exit 14 for Highway 66. Highway 66 connects to the recreation area after approximately 17 miles.
