WildCat at Hyatt Lake is my fav place to camp. Even if the water has been very very low for the last 5 years. Great sites and great clean up crews. Camp host comes around a lot and so do the rangers. Great place!!!!

Campground is located in a scenic area, but the campground itself isn't all that. At least in Loop C, campsites nearest the lake didn't actually have a view of it, and most sites weren't level. Despite the campsites being spread out from each other, they aren't actually all that private or pleasant because you have to stay near the road. I visited in May and w/ no campground host, no ranger/staff presence of any kind, and very few fellow campers (none of which were tent campers like me) it had an eerie atmosphere. Add in the cold wind off the lake and the geese that honked late into the night -- I cut my stay short. I'm bothered because when I made the reservation there were almost no sites left, suggesting this was a popular campground that would be nearly full when I got there. Can't believe that 80% of those bookings cancelled in the time in between...something faulty with Recreation.gov?

This horse camp would be a 5 star location if the camp sights were leveled for large trailers, we really enjoyed it there. Water in the camp would great too. The horses drink allot of water. It was sad to see Hyatt lake so very low on water. We will return next year.

great location. campsite was great, bathrooms and showers were clean. water level was extremely low, but that was fine since we only stayed one night. for the most part the campground is fairly quiet, aside from the noise from the birds and geese in the lake reservoir making noises throughout the night.

We enjoyed being at Hyatt even though the water was very low. Wildlife was abundant. However smoke came in on Saturday and made it challenging to be outside.

I enjoyed it here. It's not heavily wooded where I was so I wasn't often bothered by anyone around me making much if any noise. It's nice just to sit and watch the wildlife and the crows living in the woods nearby were amusing to listen to. The lake was a bit low while I was here which was fine by me since I don't own a boat and didn't come to use the lake as much as just to sit by the water and watch the wildlife. Nice place to get away from the usual noisy hordes of campers that seem to inhabit most other campgrounds. Kind of a hidden gem of sorts and so shhh, don't tell anyone.

The sites are nice and shady. The bathrooms are clean. The only problem was how low the water was. It was hard to launch even a SUP. And the seaweed kept catching on my scagg. Also, I heard a “rumor” that there are leeches in the water. That didn’t keep me out of the lake, but I was VERY careful.;)
