Great camp and time at it. There are too few openings for registrations. We need MORE campsites.

I was at Hyatt Lake with a group from the Rogue Valley Amateur Radio club. We were participating in a nation wide test of communications readyness called "Field Day". The Park allowed our group to set up in the seldom used Base Ball field. The Facilities were great, the Rangers were wonderful and very helpful, overall a excellent experience.

The campsite was in a beautiful locations. Unfortunately most of the amenities weren’t available. The there was no basketball hoop and the volleyball court was full of weeds and had no net provided. The campsites were very different in size and we could not move to an empty site without changing it online through Recreation.gov.

Absolutely loved my stay here! Campsites are nice, bathhouses are clean, camp hosts are very good, hard working folks and not to mention you can't beat the price!!
The Pacific Crest Trail (PCT) runs just outside the campground offering miles of wonderful hiking. Hyatt Lake as well as a few other lakes are within close proximity for a myriad of water sports. Hyatt Lake Resort and Cocorico have yummy eats, treats, some basic shopping needs and are moments away. Ashland, Oregon is a very fun town (just a short drive down the mountain) providing all your needs such as restaurants, bakeries, grocery stores, emergency facilities, boutique shopping, local breweries, wine tastings, theaters, parks, plazas and much more. Medford, Oregon is 15 miles-ish north with all the big name chains you find more familiar. If you have the time the little town of Jacksonville, Oregon is worth checking out.
Hope you enjoy your stay!!
Cheers!

Great spot! We stopped here on our way to Indian Mary. It was quiet and clean bathrooms. Free showers!! The bathroom closest to our campsite wasn’t open, not sure why! The lake isn’t really swimmable. That’s the only bad thing!

Not much water on the lake, but the campground was well maintained. Bathroom and showers were good too.
We all had a good time.

Beautiful restful place, but water very low already due to drought. There was some haze from various fires when we were there, but its a lovely spot.

No water, and no trout, not many campers, and the park looked goo. Our neighbors were nice.

We had a wonderful time at Hyatt Lake Recreational Area campsite. The sites are large, the bathrooms are very clean with flushing toilets and hot showers and the camp host (Ranger Scott, AKA camp mom) is very friendly and on top of everything at the camp ground.
