Only stayed one night during the weekday, it was pretty empty. Campsites are nicely spaced out, some have view of the lake. Roomy bathrooms with showers (didn’t get a shower). Had a great conversation with the hosts. Campgrounds is a bit of a distance from the nearest town, so make sure you fuel/stock up before going.

My favorite campground, awesome bird watching. I had one peaceful day and night until a rowdy group of two families
came the next day. Screaming, cussing, dogs barking, and kids yelling.
I left a day early, has happened before, I think I'm giving up my favorite place to camp.

The camp host Kim was fantastic, so helpful and accommodating and just generally cheerful. Facilities were clean, campground was beautiful and we had a wonderful time.

This is a beautiful campground. It's well-run by hosts Deb and Dave. They are compassionately strict, kids safety first. Quiet time is enforced, and the campsites are well laid out, spacious and clean. Bathrooms are heated, with hot showers. You just can't go wrong staying here.

Camp hosts were amazing. Firewood is conveniently available for only $5 a bundle. As for ice, you can buy bags down the street at the resort restaurant. First night I slept like a baby. However, the second night there was a little party going on until 12am which woke me up. Shoutout to the guy who yelled and told them to shut up, lol.

Directions: From Ashland, Oregon (Interstate-5 Exit 14): Turn on Highway 66 toward Klamath Falls. Follow Highway 66 for 17 mi until you reach the Green Springs Inn. Turn north onto the Bureau of Land Management's East Hyatt Lake Road. Follow the road for approximately 3 mi until you reach the Hyatt Lake Recreation Area. Stay to the right on East Hyatt Lake Road; an entry booth, located at the entrance to the campground, has visitor camping information.
To get to Wildcat Campground and the Equestrian Campground continue past the entrance booth and Hyatt Lake Campground entrance for approximately 2 mi on East Hyatt Lake road and the entrance to Wildcat Campground and the Equestrian Campground will be on the left.
Highway access
Hyatt Lake Recreation Area is accessible via Interstate 5, with the nearest exit being Exit 14 for Highway 66. Highway 66 connects to the recreation area after approximately 17 miles.
