I really love this campground but don’t think the group sites are all the same. “A” is confusing. Not sure how 10 cars & 60 people could fit there with random tent sites at the bottom (and last year a couple had 2 big, crazy dogs at a close tent site). Second year camping in this spot & there are still broken benches and the power was out in the bathroom. I will try group “D” next year but think “A” needs expanding if you really want to advertise it as that big of a site. And/or mark it with buckets like other site because people walked through our site to get to tents with their dogs 😬

The campground was clean and our spot reserved. Camp hosts came around and introduced themselves and also had firewood for sale. It was one of the most quiet places we have been to and close to trails for walking and biking. The lake is nearby and the forest was green and healthy. Historic town of Sumpter is about 19 mi away and had very interesting sites to see.

Beautifully kept campground with warm and friendly hosts. There is a nice amount of space between you and your neighbors. We loved having the trails by the lake to walk our dog and ride our bikes.
