Union Creek Campground is a well-maintained and peaceful destination, praised for its spacious sites and friendly camp hosts. While some visitors noted the lake's low water levels and challenges accessing it, many enjoyed the clean facilities, abundant hiking trails, and overall quiet atmosphere. The toilets that we camped next to were out of service, so that was a bummer. But, the rest of the camping experience is what you would expect.

From Baker City, Oregon, travel south on Highway 7 for about 18 mi. The campground and day-use entrance is on the left side of the road. Follow the signs in the Union Creek Recreation Area down to the various campground loops and areas.
