I stayed here a few years back when I was told there was new owners and they were going to spruce things up. I think the bathroom were new but they have not been maintained since then. Bathrooms dirty, grounds overgrown, broken picnic table etc. Electric works, it's close to town so, especially if you are self contained, it's an OK stay.

This was a great place to stop for the night as we traveled. It was fun to take the driving tour through the BLM wild horse area. The staff were very friendly.

Meh. It's a place for an overnight when you're RV traveling. The electric, water and sewer hookups all worked. There are only two bathhouses, one with two unisex shower/toilet units (only one was working) and a laundry. The other bathhouse had women's & men's rooms with similar issues so expect a wait if you need a shower. Plenty of hot water though. I will say they have excellent WiFi and though the campground is next to the road it was quiet and has some trees.

We only spent one night, but it was the best experience. We travel in a 40' motorhome, then separately drive a pickup towing a 20 foot fishing boat. Do you know how many times a site has been large enough (pull through) to not have to disconnect the boat? Maybe one other in 13 years of full-time RVing. We will be back!! (Office staff was awesome!)

We stayed here for a quick overnight and we were directed to our campsite by staff even though it was after hours. When booking online I thought the “secure your spot” guarantee for a $10 fee was odd so I just skipped it. We indeed did not end up in the spot we booked. So if you’re really set on a spot, pay the fee I guess? Nevertheless, we had a great night’s sleep in the quiet, peaceful park.
We were happy that our site had full hookups that were easy to use. But upon seeing our site in the light of day, we came to realize that the reviews about sewage problems was not an over exaggeration. There were used tampons in our site that were left behind by a previous guest that had a sewage issue. They had obviously been there a while so it didn’t seem like a priority to the park to get them cleaned up. This was a horrible impression that cemented my decision not to return to the park when passing through Burns again. Thankfully we only booked one night.
We decided to stay here because it was much cheaper than other parks in the area but my recommendation to others is to spend the extra money and stay elsewhere.
Overall, we were able to rest in our camper after a long day on the road and cook a hot breakfast. So we got what we needed. But all I can think about is how my whole family was walking in a sewage spill area while we were getting set up the night we pulled in.
