Very relaxing, peaceful. Campsites were clean, ready for myself and my horse.

Willow Prairie Horsecamp is highly praised for its cleanliness, well-maintained facilities, and attentive camp host, Dawn Cavanaugh. Reviewers appreciate the spacious campsites, excellent water troughs, and a variety of enjoyable trails that start right from the camp. While some minor improvements were noted regarding site leveling and safety of corrals, the overall experience is described as fantastic, peaceful, and supportive of equestrian activities.

We absolutely LOVE this camp, was very sad to hear our beloved super camp host Judy Klein was 'retiring" but the blow was leveled by the wonderful new host Dawn!!!
We look forward to many more years of memories

We had a fantastic visit in late October just before the camp closed for the season. Our camp host, Dawn Cavanaugh, was helpful in getting us settled in and showing us the map app. She is attentive and a fine camp host! Five star rating for Dawn! The camp was tidy. The vault toilet was clean and well stocked. Troughs were full and clean. I appreciate the provided wheelbarrow, dump trailer, manure forks and other implements for cleaning up corrals. The trails were awesome. I would like to give a shout out to all the volunteers, including the Sourdough Back Country Horsemen, who spent countless hours clearing/grooming the trails and repairing the corrals. We enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

Camp host was great. Checked in regularly when she found I was camping alone to be sure I was safe and had all I needed. Great info was provided. I was even given help to back up my trailer (spotter was very helpful). Corrals were in good order and everything was tidy. I would highly recommend.

This is a beautiful horse camp. Great trails with beautiful scenery. The camp host was friendly and helpful. You do need to be prepared to haul water. To your camp site.
