Collier Memorial State Park offers a serene and picturesque environment, perfect for kayaking, leisurely walks, and family picnics, making it a great spot for all ages. The park is dog-friendly and features kid-friendly amenities like a playground and a logging museum, enhancing its appeal for families. While the facilities are generally well-maintained, there was a minor issue with one restroom stall door.

The most breathtaking beautiful water to kayak in. Very important to only go up stream when you launch because people get stuck going down stream. About an hour and gentle paddle going upstream.

Collier Memorial State Park is the definition of calm and peaceful—a true little slice of nature’s serenity. Whether you’re looking to stretch your legs, enjoy some fresh air, or just slow down for a while, this park delivers in the most beautiful way.
It’s dog-friendly (pups on leashes, of course), so the whole family can enjoy a day out together. Speaking of family, the park is very kid-friendly too, with a nice playground to keep the little ones entertained and a picnic area perfect for lunch under the trees.
Surrounded by nature in every direction, the walking paths here are an easy stroll for all ages—no intense hiking boots required. Just bring your favorite people, your four-legged friend, and maybe a picnic basket, and you’re set for a perfect day at Collier Memorial State Park.

Weekday a great stop. Thought it would be a quick 3o mins, kids loved it and we stayed a couple hours looking at things and the kids did a scavenger hunt. We even had our picnic lunch there.

For those that follow me on social media, you know I spend lots of time in the Pacific Northwest, especially Oregon. And when we venture into the Bend Oregon area we inevitably drive right past Colliers Memorial State Park. Based on other reviews, I’ve not taken full advantage of the amenities at this location as I haven’t camped or kayaked or even visited the logging museum. But this is a great place to stop for a bathroom break and to let the dog stretch his legs before a long 100 mile stretch into Bend. It’s a beautiful spot. Try it out the next time you come through.

I went on a summer school field trip with my youngest daughter today. I hadn't been to Collier Memorial State Park in at least 5 years. I don't remember the logging museum being so big! I think you could spend an entire day there just to see all of the logging equipment, information plaques, etc.
Restrooms were clean, open, and in working order, except for one solid wood stall door that fell off the hinge and nearly smashed my daughter and her friend.
