What Guests Are Saying

McKenzie Bridge Campground is well-regarded for its cleanliness, beautiful natural setting, and friendly camp host, Belinda, who goes above and beyond to assist guests. Visitors appreciate the peaceful atmosphere, excellent river access, and well-maintained facilities, including the cleanest pit toilets. While some sites may lack direct river access and there are minor complaints about water quality and reservation policies, the overall experience is positive, with many guests eager to return.

Beautiful campground, we would stay there again. We just would need to bring more water.Belinda the campground hostess was amazing very sweet very kind and very informative. Our only complaint is that there is no potable water at the campsites. There was water there, but it was yellow and had rusty sediment in the bottom, not drinkable.

The campground is located right next to the highway, so there is noticeable traffic noise during the day.

Unfortunately, our campsite was in Loop A. There was no direct access to the river, and unless your site is right on the river, there is hardly any way to reach it.

We stayed at Site 05, which had very limited space, barely enough for our tent. The fire pit is located right next to the only spot where you can pitch your tent, so if you enjoy campfires, be prepared for smoke drifting into your tent.

The neighboring campsite was about three times the size of ours. There was also absolutely no privacy between our sites.

On the positive side, the vault toilets were kept very clean.

Have camped here for the past 7 years and luckily was able to reserve my favorite campsite. Camp host was super friendly. Several sites close to the river. Bathrooms kept clean.

The entire campground was clean, but the vault toilets smelled fresh and were immaculate! Belinda was the best camphost that I have had the pleasure of meeting. She was friendly, kind, hilarious and went above and beyond to make sure her guests were comfortable and taken care of. I hope she is there when I return for my next visit.

Camp Host Belinda is amazing. My family has been camping here for over 10 years and it's never been cleaner. I've never seen a camp host clean the bathroom multiple times and day, like she did. They actually smelled clean! She is awesome!! Camp ground was fantastic!

Of all the campgrounds I’ve been to this one is the cleanest by far! We came to a prestige campsite that was even raked. Belinda, the camp host, is amazing, friendly, and very attentive. And the bathrooms at this campground—wow—I’ve never used pit toilets that smell this good! In my opinion, Loop B is where you want to be. For car camping—Site 16 is perfect because you’re not parked right next to or on top of your campsite. Every site in Loop B has a trail to the river. Some sites are close together, but Loop A has most of those. The river drowns out the highway noise. And if you happen to do a full day water rafting trip from Horse Creek Outfitters, you stop at this campground for lunch. You can get firewood from Belinda at $9 a bag. It will barely last you one night and it’s not the best wood but it’s better than nothing. We made the best of it. The water pump is right across the road from site 16 and while the bathroom is a small walk, it was never “too far.” We thoroughly enjoyed our 3-night stay here!
