What Guests Are Saying

McKenzie Bridge Campground is well-regarded for its cleanliness, beautiful natural setting, and friendly camp host, Belinda, who goes above and beyond to assist guests. Visitors appreciate the peaceful atmosphere, excellent river access, and well-maintained facilities, including the cleanest pit toilets. While some sites may lack direct river access and there are minor complaints about water quality and reservation policies, the overall experience is positive, with many guests eager to return.

The site was very clean, large and felt private. The camp host was friendly and did a great job of keeping the facilities clean. Overall an excellent experience.

The reservation system forced us to pay for 2 nights when we only needed 1. That means that the site was not available the next night (Saturday) for someone who may have wanted it. Lose lose. Why not allow people to just reserve the nights they need?

The campground is very clean. Our spot had been raked and looked so welcoming. The campground host was very friendly and brought firewood right to us. The bathrooms were also very clean. The sound of the river at night was very peaceful.

The campground was serene and peaceful. Other campers seemed to be of the same mindset: we are there to relax and reflect, not to party all night. The privacy of the sites made this adventure memorable and one we will revisit.

Of all the campgrounds I’ve been to this one is the cleanest by far! We came to a prestige campsite that was even raked. Belinda, the camp host, is amazing, friendly, and very attentive. And the bathrooms at this campground—wow—I’ve never used pit toilets that smell this good! In my opinion, Loop B is where you want to be. For car camping—Site 16 is perfect because you’re not parked right next to or on top of your campsite. Every site in Loop B has a trail to the river. Some sites are close together, but Loop A has most of those. The river drowns out the highway noise. And if you happen to do a full day water rafting trip from Horse Creek Outfitters, you stop at this campground for lunch. You can get firewood from Belinda at $9 a bag. It will barely last you one night and it’s not the best wood but it’s better than nothing. We made the best of it. The water pump is right across the road from site 16 and while the bathroom is a small walk, it was never “too far.” We thoroughly enjoyed our 3-night stay here!

Camp Host Belinda is amazing. My family has been camping here for over 10 years and it's never been cleaner. I've never seen a camp host clean the bathroom multiple times and day, like she did. They actually smelled clean! She is awesome!! Camp ground was fantastic!
