What Guests Are Saying
South Twin Lake Campground is a family-friendly destination, ideal for fishing enthusiasts, with trout averaging 15+ inches and some catfish present. The sandy beach offers ample space for kids to play, and various non-motorized watercraft are welcome. However, the campground's restrooms are in need of maintenance, and there is no Verizon cell service, though nearby amenities include a restaurant and ice cream.

We enjoy fishing South Twin. Most of the trout are 15+ inches (all stock fish). There are now some catfish on there. Best fishing is early in the morning. The campground restrooms are neglected, so pretty gross. I've had better luck here in the last 5 years than prior years going back to '79.

Great little lake. No motor boats but you can bring or rent kayaks or paddle boards or most other non motor boats.
Beach in the main area has a lot of space to setup. It was pretty busy with parking all the way down the road.
No cell service for Verizon but a restaurant, bathroom and ice cream near by.

Pretty area and friendly people. It's nice to be able to get a few necessary items at the local store and they also have a restaurant. I haven't tried their food yet. Spent about 3 hours fishing and saw a huge number of fish jumping but received no bites and the majority of fish that were jumping looked smaller than my index finger. So we eventually packed up and spent the last hour at North Twin Lake where we caught a fish the day before.
