Rooster Rock State Park

What is stunning Park! The views of the Columbia River are breathtaking. And then to top it all off clean working restrooms!!!

This is a great place to stop stretch and use the bathroom while traveling I-84 into the Columbia River Gorge. It has a huge parking lot clean amenities and easy access to the bank of the Columbia River and a beautiful view of the river and surrounding hills and mountains. Top it all off with the songs of the birds hanging out here and it's well worth the stop to check it out.

Good park for day-use. It has a boat ramp, and a large grassy area for volleyball nets. Lots of parking available. Lots of trees for shade for picnics. $10 entrance fee.

A beautiful open space to enjoy a picnic on a sunny day while taking in the scenic river views. The area is peaceful and well-maintained, with clean facilities and conveniently located restrooms. The trees are neatly kept, adding to the pleasant atmosphere. Plus, the large parking lot provides easy access.

We only stayed here briefly. We had a small snack on one of the shaded picnic tables where we got a few visitors (little squirrels wanting food). The restroom facilities were clean and pleasant to use. The playground was pretty good for my 6 year old son. And the views were so great!! I wish I had more time to explore!!
