Campsites are close,( urban camping) garbage was overflowing, bathrooms not the greatest. Lady running the camps had 5 other camps. So she’s not to blame..No camp host.. only thing going for this camp was the beach..

If you are someone who is really looking to get away from people and the city, this is it. The drive in was not as expected; we drove 7 mi on a dirt road, which lead us to the hidden campground. There were very few signs, which was concerning, considering we have never been there before. We were in site 15, Southern Edge, which was further from the lake, but still very close. We did encounter many mosquitos, but the spot was still very nice and quiet. There was one vault bathroom, which was well maintained. Not sure if we would stay again, but it is a good, isolated campground.

was not told campsite # 2 was a walk in campsite , the mosquitos were unbearable and the wind blew the entire time. when you are concerned about eating a mosquito every time you take a bite of your food, it's time to go home. had to park vehicle right in front of the bathrooms. the lake and views were beautiful. made reservations for 2 nights went home after one.

This campground was one of the gems of the area, now it's over-run with OHV's and ATV's, falling apart and looking over-used. There is no camp host, and it is not visited by a "staff" person every day, so huge, noisy parties happen, late into the night, people spreading out into other camp spots they didn't reserve, people parking in reserved camp spots for "day use", dogs running around loose everywhere, and trucks driving through camp spots onto the beach and into the previously fenced off tent area.
