We spent my daughter’s 9th birthday there the first week of August. Shaded, pretty clean. Wonderful camp ground. Clean bathrooms. Decent sized sites. We will return!

Site 13 was great! There are no utilities here (or drinking water) so expect some generator noise from the RVs.

We were in campsite #13 which is very nice, except for the posts that limit where you can park. It's ok if you have just one vehicle, but it was difficult with 2. Be advised that this entire area is so DUSTY! It's nuts! Also, it's quite a long walk from the campsite to the shore of the lake. Totally worth it but be prepared.... the beach is made up of tiny pumice rocks which are rough on the feet but the lake is stunning. No mud at all, just crystal clear water... Pro tip, there is no potable water at Contorta Flat but there is water just 2 mi away at the Spring campground.
