Cabin is charming and clean, bed is comfortable, the tiny bathtub is adorable. What a lovely place to visit! If you expect hot weather, bring a couple box fans to aid with cooling it back down overnight. No cell service, but there’s Wi-Fi at the restaurant in Crescent Junction and great Broasted Chicken. Simax day use area was so beautiful. It’s a great place to swim. I want to go back!

Really enjoyed our stay here! Full basic kitchen with dishes, lots of pots and pans ect. A flush toilet and drinkable water made this so deluxe. 😁Absolutely no food, including oil or salt and pepper so pack accordingly. Also one hot pad and no dish towels. We forgot paper towels too, so we’re a little imparted till we found the cleaning rags in the bedroom closet. Full sized fridge with a very functional freezer with ice trays and kept our ice cream hard. The electricity is an afterfit on this vintage cabin, so the plug ins are sparse and non are in outside walls, an extension cord might come in handy. They have one in the bedroom.
I will mention that “lake access” means a VERY steep trail several hundred yards down to the water, so more like lake view when it comes to accessi mg the water, especially since we are not 24. After scouting We drove to tranquil cove which was perfect for kayak launching.
Overall we
Would definitely stay again, or another cabin elsewhere just to see new places.

Great time, nice rustic cabin. Bring your own coffee pot, pot holders, and toaster 😀. I will definitely rent again!

The place was comfortable. I left the place cleaner than when I came. I didn't hear any rodents in the walls. I was going to eat my dinner on the porch but within 30 seconds of taking my containers out of the cooler the yellow jackets were thick. I ate inside. Nice lave views and the heater worked great in the morning. I would gladly return someday.
