The Crescent Lake Guard Station, built in the early 1930s, is a one bedroom, one bath cabin on the eastern shore of Crescent Lake, managed by the Crescent Ranger District, Deschutes National Forest.

Summary
Crescent Lake Guard Station offers a charming and clean cabin with a comfortable bed and an adorable tiny bathtub. While there is no cell service, guests can enjoy Wi-Fi at a nearby restaurant and highly recommend the Broasted Chicken. The beautiful Simax day use area provides a great swimming experience, making it a desirable spot for a return visit.

Great place overall, but an outbreak of yellow jackets limited our positive experience. They were particularly bad around the wet shoreline. There were thousands in that area. Must have been thirsty!

The place was comfortable. I left the place cleaner than when I came. I didn't hear any rodents in the walls. I was going to eat my dinner on the porch but within 30 seconds of taking my containers out of the cooler the yellow jackets were thick. I ate inside. Nice lave views and the heater worked great in the morning. I would gladly return someday.

From Crescent, OR: Travel 12.2 mi west on County Road 61/Crescent Cut-off Road, then 3.5 mi north on Highway 58, then 2.2 mi west on Forest Road 60/OR-429 S.

Once you have reached the Sno-Park, stay straight and follow signs to the Resort on Forest Road 6005 (1 ft). Still heading towards the Resort, turn right on Forest Road 6005-100 and then left on Forest Road 6005-105. The Guard Station will be on the right side of the road towards the lake. (See vicinity map located under the "Facility Map" tab).

- Lock doors and windows and remove personal items before leaving.
- Return the key to the lock-box after your stay.
