What Guests Are Saying
Sunset Cove Campground offers beautiful views of the lake and clean, well-maintained facilities, including a boat launch and fish cleaning station. We agree with past reviews, there is definitely a good amount of road noise since this campground is fairly close to the highway. But there are a few spots that look right out on to the lake, which is beautiful. Lots of trees for shade. Several spigots for water. Lots of good spots to fish and a few easy spots to put in a paddle board.

Clean and well maintained sites, un crowded with a nice boat launch area but unfortunately there was constant traffic noise from the adjacent highway

Aside from my neighbors boat being looted over night and the fish cleaning station stinking to high heaven, the camp grounds are nice enough…. Why the camp host can’t do a daily hose down and sanitize of the cleaning station is unacceptable…. US Forest service should do better.

I love Sunset Cove, have been camping there for years. Most campsites are fairly private. Love that it has a boat launch and a fish cleaning station.
But......This campground is very close to the highway and very noisy.
Plus, the last few years, there has been a HORRIBLE problem with MICE!!!!!!. Year before last while camping there, I killed 13 mice that got into my RV at Site #6.
This year I killed 9 mice in my RV in camp site #14.
Unfortunately, we won't be staying there for a long while. Mice do so much damage to an RV.

The campsites were not level enough for us to stay in the camp. Spoke to the camp host and offered another spot that was open for that night only. It also was had too much of a slope to level our 26 ft RV without some of the wheels being off the ground. Due to this, we had to move to another campground to find a place to stay for the 3 nights and had to pay again to do this. If a sites sloop
Is that bad, it needs to include this information on Reservation.gov so it prevents people paying for that site if they have an RV. We ended up in Paradise Campground for the three nights at a FF site.

Beautiful lake. Clean campground. Only issue is the noise from the road and the bathroom needed a bit more attention. The trail walk to the next campground is nice as well.

The spot was nice. Quite a bit of noise from the highway no matter where your camped. Not very comfortable spots for tents, a lot of rocks and stumps in ground so you'd feel them in the tent even with a pad. Outside of that it was enjoyable. Bathrooms clean. May camp there again or try another place around lake Odell

Restrooms were almost unbearable… To top it off someone stole our generator and the camp host was not available the entire time we were there. Beautiful place though.
