everything was great, but the restrooms. The one near my camp spot was horrible. Other than that the weekend was great.

Sandbeach Campground offers a well-maintained and clean environment with friendly camp hosts, making it a popular choice for ATV and off-road enthusiasts. While the location is praised for its proximity to the dunes and beach, the level of noise from ATV activity and loud parties can detract from a peaceful camping experience. Visitors seeking a quieter retreat may want to consider alternative options, but families and recreationists generally enjoy the vibrant atmosphere and amenities provided.

Sandlake is always good for a weekend get away. Not to far away from vancouver, and the campgrounds are pretty well kept.

The campsites are very large and spaced out nicely. Many of the campsites have lots of trees, so you don't even see your neighbors.

Very nice campground overall, unfortunately the noise of the ATVs is loud and disturbs the camping feeling. We knew that, because this campground is pretty much for that purpose. However, since we didn't use ATVs for us it was disturbing.
Also, it was weird that there was no way to pay for the campsite without paying the $ 8 reservation fee. Which is not the case in other campgrounds when you pay first come first serve. There was no way to avoid the reservation fee even though no reservation was needed.

We understood that this campground services atv campers for the dunes. Hard to escape them.

Overall a well maintained campground. Camp hosts were friendly and helpful when we had questions. Only real issue is that since this is a place for ATV's to play some campers felt the need to violate the "No night riding!" rule and about 3 AM one morning two or three of them fired up their toys and were running up and down for about 30 minutes or so.
Minor problem is that it appears that many of the campers don't comprehend the concept of "Leave it cleaner than it was when you got here." I spent about 45 minutes cleaning up garbage that was left all around my campsite.
Since we don't ride ATV's we will only camp here in the low use season, never in the prime time for riding.

Access is easy and close to some good hiking and coastal areas it is however primarily a dune riders paradise and all that includes. Very noisy vehicles from morning to night.

Sandbeach Campground is accessible via Highway 101, which is approximately 11 miles to the east from Tillamook. Sandlake Road (County Road 871) connects directly to Highway 101 and leads to Galloway Road.
