The campground bathrooms were mostly out of order, in disrepair or lacked toilet paper. The showers were very dirty and half of them broken. It was quite disappointing and not at all what we had expected, having camped here so many times in previous years.

The site was huge and very private. Loved the campground location. The bathroom only had one working stall and it ran out of toilet paper after the first day. There's an email address inside the bathroom to request refills and cleaning, but hard to send an email to make a request when there's such limited cell phone service.

Appreciated having water near each site. We didn't see a camp host selling firewood, but there's a few places within a few miles that sell it. Mosquitoes were manageable with proper planning.

Upon arriving at Broken arrow campground we found the bathrooms on E-Loop closed and not working. This made our experience very difficult as we had to walk quite a distance to reach Loop C or Loop D. We had a 9 day reservation with lots of family and children which rely on working restrooms. I understand things happen, but during our visit we did not see a single Ranger employee or vehicle. And no one is addressing the man hole at the beginning of loop E which was broke off its concrete mount, (probably by a snow plow). This left a safety hazard as a sizable hole was left often into the man hole and I'm sure that debris fell in and caused the plumbing problem. There were also potable water access problems that the spigots were shut off because of leaks in the pipes, ( NO adequate draining of fresh water before winter).
We have been coming to this campground for over 25 years and are deeply saddened by the continued decline of this beautiful area. The non working bathrooms, the very limited fresh water spots, and the decline in maintenance and cleaning in the showers are troubling. I am hoping this letter will reach someone that will act and preserve this beautiful campground for the generations to come. If more $ is needed then please budget that or give a small increase to the site price to help cover the cost.
Thank you for at least reading this,
Sincerely,
John Bales
