Wouldn't stay here again. This place is not on Diamond Lake but it's about a 5-10 minute walk on the highway to get there. So expect to pay to use the day use area on the lake or park in your site and walk over.
Pros: it works if Diamond Lake Campground is full. Drinking water and showers onsite; showers were clean and well-maintained.
Cons: lacks tree cover between sites so there's no privacy for campers and little shade; we could clearly see every other site on our loop from our tent; felt like camping in a parking lot. The bathroom near our site was *gross* and hadn't been cleaned (according to the paper log) in 12 days; overflowing garbage and facilities were not clean, meaning a 5 minute walk each way to a usable bathroom. Our loop's camp host was very grumpy and came to lecture us for having a lantern on after 10pm, so if you stay up after dark you might not enjoy this place. Also, you'll pay extra for a 2nd vehicle even in the group site.
The bike trail around the lake is great, and the other campground nearby that is actually on the lake shore looked awesome. Only stay here if you're visiting Diamond Lake and can't get a site elsewhere.

The site in the picture was not the site. Upon arrival the site reserved was small and on a hillside. No where to pitch tents. Super disappointed we looked for another spot and ended up at the diamond lake resort.

The camp hosts were absolutely amazing. They accommodated us very well on the first night. I had 2 sites on opposite ends of the campground and they came and let us move one of our sites just one site away from the other.

We had a great time at Broken Arrow. Everything was great. Just wish there was one more set of showers at the other end of the camp ground. It was really dirty and dusty but other than that it was great. Love the trails to the water and the trail around the lake.

From Roseburg, OR, turn left onto OR-138 East / NE Diamond Lake Boulevard for approximately 80 miles. Turn right onto Forest Road 4795 / Diamond Lake Loop at the north entrance to Diamond Lake Recreation Area. Continue 3.2 miles and turn right after the pizza parlor. Drive half a mile to the campground entrance on the left. Broken Arrow may also be accessed via OR-62 and OR-230 from Medford, OR, or US-97 from Klamath Falls, OR, and Bend, OR.
Broken Arrow Campground is accessible via OR-138, OR-62, and OR-230. It is approximately 80 miles from Roseburg, OR, and can also be reached from US-97 from Klamath Falls, OR, and Bend, OR.

Arrival & departure
- Site availability is on a first-come, first-served basis.
Cancellation policy
- Reservation fees are non-refundable. For campsites, cabins, lookouts, yurts, group sites, and similar stays, we charge a reservation service fee of $8.
- Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
- Late cancellation rules differ by stay type.
- Individual campsites: cancelling after 12:00am local time the day before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
- Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Extending or shortening a stay that still includes original dates usually has no change fee, though refunds may depend on timing and facility rules. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.
- Early departures may or may not be refunded. At certain facilities, partial refunds may be possible if staff can mark the site available for other visitors. No refund is given for a night if the early departure is requested after that day's check-out time.
- Security deposits are separate. Security deposits may be refunded to the original payment method if the facility is left in acceptable condition, as determined by the property.
