Very nice campground with paved roads and spacious sites with frequent water points and toilets. Beautiful lake views from the lower sites, but I enjoyed the quiet areas and filtered view of the lake from the upper section. Nice bike path around the lake, and some great hikes in the area.

We enjoyed our stay in this campground, really close to visit Crater lake. We where in front of the lake with a beautiful view. The site was big and the restrooms clean. Showers where not super clean but fine. You can bike to the store to find the basic needs and ice cream.
The coverage was spotty but worked better with the booster.
Would stay here again!

Beautiful location and campground. Facilities aren't amazing, but definitely adequate and comfortable. Giant trash bins were overflowing a bit when we got there, but my recollection is that they were emptied mid-stay, so I think ultimately that was fine. Was surprised that bears and other animals weren't more of a concern, though.

1) how high (approximately) is a lakeshore on each place located close to lake - it can help to choose place for reservation
(for example, I reserved K010 - high lakeshore, but better for me might be K016 or K 018 - low lakeshore),
2) point a place in a campground that is convenient for swimming.

Our family camping trip was awesome. The smoke only rolled in in the late afternoon. We visited the corral and rode the horses. The whole experience was just awesome!

A large campground situated on the shores of Diamond Lake, we were dry camping there for four days. A eleven mile paved bike path circles the lake, first through a lovely forest and then following the shore. It was a great workout for those who use peddle power but e-bikes were also welcome! Showers available with suggested donations. Boat ramp and lake access for swimming. No fires allowed at this time. (August 2021) Near the Crater Lake National Park. A must see!

Diamond Lake is accessible via OR-138, which connects to US-97 and OR-62 within approximately 25 miles. From Klamath Falls or Bend, OR-138 can be reached via US-97.
