Amazing and beautiful campground!! We went when it was first come, first serve before reservations were available and it was quiet and mostly empty. Would highly recommend!

Access to the lake at or space, K34, was good, and we were close to a water tap and the bathroom (flush toilets). If we knew the campground well, we may have selected a site with more shade. There's evidence of much cleanup; removal of (presumably dead) trees.
The picnic table was at an unusable tilt for cooking or meal preparation. It was difficult to find a level spot other than the tent footprint. for our grill & stove.

We missed having the flush toilets in A loop. The Porta Pots were keep as clean as possible with usage. The cleaning service in the showers was outstanding. The best we have seen in years...and we are regulars to Diamond Lake...Kudos to whoever is doing it. And, a special thanks to the voluteer staff...what would the parks do without them.

We love camping at Diamond lake, one of our favorite places. However this trip finding our site was not easy A19, no directional markings to our loop on the road unfortunately so I took a trip through the whole N. Side trying to find a marker for our loop, nada. Very tight to navigate through. Ended up going all the way to the end of the campground to turn around pulling our trailer. Luckily I ran into the camp host in his golf cart ( nice guy BTW ) after I turned around and he led to my site. But now I was going the wrong direction and had to go back to the entrance, turn around and come back so I could back into my spot. We couldn't put our awning out for shade because the tree limbs were not trimmed back. The park shower was like being in a pressure washer, it stung our skin and maybe this is purposely done so poeple don't spend to long in there, I sure didn't. Hand dryer didn't work in the bathroom near the boat dock / shower. Water fountain near our camp didn't work so maintenance is really lagging now adays. The lake is great, fishing was good too and overall a really fun weekend. Not complaining, Recreational. Gov wanted my review so here it is.

Diamond lake has become our families annual camping trip. With two young children it provides everything a parent could want for their kids. Safe paths for biking, waterways for fishing and the beach for the hot afternoon. We will be back next year!

The lakeside campsite was breathtaking. The campground was quiet as the summer still awaits. The facilities were convenient and clean. Helpful camp host too

Our experience at Diamond lake was a fantastic first time camping trip!
The view was beautiful, the campsites were clean, there was no noise, the restrooms were well maintained, and the camp host was very friendly.
We highly recommend checking out Diamond lake campground!
