Diamond Lake

Awesome campground! Finding your lot is easy, even at night, and the lots are big. Good bathroom facilities that were neat and close by to all campgrounds. Didn’t try showers but saw that was a facility offered. Views of Diamond lake were stunning.

Definitely stay here if you can!

Diamond Lake campground is always nice. It's large and can feel crowded , some sites are close to the main road. The restrooms are camping condition, but have flush toilets. The views are lovely, lake is relatively clean. Nice place for kids or to relax or ride around the lake on a paved path. You can even rent a boat at the resort. This is a great natural lake.

We reserved two campsites K23 and K26. According to the map they were opposite each other. In fact they were offset from each other by more than one campsite in-between. I hope that can be fixed for future campers that are camping with two families. The other problem we had was that it was not indicated that two level parking places is impossible in one campsite, at least in Loop K. We will be looking for more detailed information next time and hope we don't make that mistake again.

Overall I thought the campground was pretty good. Planning ahead of time was challenging though, as there are zero images of the campsites so no clue what they actually look like or how far apart they really are. Our Scout group ended up getting 5 sites but one of them was QUITE FAR from the others, as the map is NOT to scale. Also, all sites were on a slope making tenting for the Scouts difficult, but we figured something out. Providing photos of the campsites at the time of booking would have helped enormously.

The campsite itself was good. TP didn't run out and the bathrooms were decent, although there is NO SOAP in the bathroom so plan ahead every time you use it. Water locations were plentiful, but there were not enough dump stations. I would've expected one dump station next to each water location but the nearest dump was many many campsites away from us. Maybe something for a future improvement.

We really liked the showers, lake access, and everyone we met. The Camp Hosts were amazing. The staff was very helpful, including the volunteers at the visitor center. We also used the Amphitheater for our finale campfire program and it was perfect. We would definitely go back.

This was a great campground with exceptionally clean bathrooms/showers and hot water. There was plenty of space between campsites and if you’re able to get a spot on the lake, the views are beautiful. We didn’t interact with the camp hosts, but they seemed well set-up and had WiFi access available. The only struggle with the campground was trying to find a place to clean dishes. Some people were washing in the bathrooms sink (again, great hot water), but I wish there was a designated site for that task. If there was, I didn’t see it.

Lovely widespread campground! We were in site M001 with access to the lake in only a few steps. Perfect spot to watch the sunset and enjoy the lake. Make sure to bring chairs to do so. Close to the boat ramp.

The restroom next to our campsite was out of order for what was told to us for the whole summer... we were told not enough funds to repair... camp host told us it was simply a broken pipe and an easy fix...even had a caper who was a plumber and volunteered to fix it... this is totally unacceptable when I talked to campers close by and we were willing to each donate to get it fixed... I have been camping here for years and cannot accept or excuse such poor accommodations for a dry camping campground facility
