Due to fires near by we had to change our plans and we arrived 5 days earlier than our reservation. They found us a space! The whole experience was great. So glad we took a chance they could direct us and things would work out…. On Labor Day weekend mind you!

Clean camp sites. Great views and access to the lake. If you have a way to go out on the lake, take it with you. Best fishing is in deepest parts of lake where water is coldest. Rangers were great. Happy Camping.

Beautiful campground! Great biking trails, wildflowers in the campground, quiet and spread out, bats eating off the lake at night, otters in the lake, and amazing sunsets. We will have to go back. The only problem was the bathrooms being a bit spread out, but having showers was great.

I really enjoyed everything - loved the trail around the lake. Improvements would be to trim bushes/trees along the path - got narrow in a few places. A couple big holes too. And so many trees down, a big fire hazard!
