Most of the sites are along the lake and we launched our kayaks directly from our site. The lake loop trail is well worth it, with beautiful views and fun little hills.

No electric or water hookups but there are several potable water faucets spread throughout the campground to fill tanks to pour in RV's water gravity hole. There is a nice dump station near the campground entrance plus a hose-accepting faucet to allow you to fill your potable water tank at the same time. There is a shower building a short drive from most sites (pay by the minute so bring quarters) and clean restrooms walking distance from most camp sites. Our site was deep enough to park our 18 ft trailer and pickup end to end. Sites are fairly spread out so decent privacy. There is a boat ramp near the camp entrance for those interested in that. Our site faced the lake and had nice views. Site was not too shaded which allowed for solar panels to work well. Camp is not near major highways so fairly quiet. Cell coverage is non-existent so bring a StarLink if you have one. Was only 15 minutes from the north entrance to Crater Lake NP so nice and convenient.

The lake was beautiful, but the weather and smoke weren’t very cooperative. Thunderstorms and wildfires compromised the trip somewhat, but it was a fun time with family. The facilities (bathrooms and showers) are nice, but could use a little TLC. The site was not as flat as we hoped , but had lots of shade and it was fairly quiet.

Showers weren’t within walking distance. Mosquitoes were annoying but not as bad as we thought they were going to be. Electricity at the bathroom was only turned on for a few hours each day (or night) - no rhyme or reason as to why or when.

There is a lot to do here. Fishing, biking, hiking. Great Basecamp for all the activities. The lake is beautiful and lodge has a rustic charm. Nice camp hosts and clean. I wish fellow campers were better with keeping areas clean. Quiet and not a lot of generator noise. We love it.
