This is a beautiful campground. The sites on the lake are great. Ours had lake access. The only drawback is that it is not very private. Some sites are close together with little to seperate them.

We had a site in the K loop. It was slanted and cramped. There was barely had enough room for our tent or to be able to comfortably sit around the fire ring. Also there was a horrible spider infestation. I don't know if it was the time or year or spiders had hatched under the picnic table, but they were everywhere and on everything. When we packed up, some even managed to stay attached to our gear and travel with us. Being near water, mosquitos were expected, but gnats came out in swarms in the evening. The potable water was turned on, but the placement could have been better. It was across from our campsite next to the campsite across the road and it felt like you were walking into their site to get water, especially when they had a tent placed in close proximity. The bathrooms did have flushing toilets and toilet paper, but no hand soap and no electricity. Also being on a hillside, access to the water was difficult as the trail down was steep and narrow. I have heard there are bigger and flatter sites there that are nicer, but the site we had, I would not recommend.

Super campground! Felt almost like a resort with how clean and up to date all the sites and facilities were! We happened to pick a site (F2) that had great views of the lake from the site, but was one of the few that was crowded up against the next one over (thankfully a very quiet couple who took off in their boat tied up to the shoreline near their site). Some issue with mosquitos, but not bad. Site F2 is definitely not the best for a larger tent (maybe a 2-person), so we ended up sliding down on our sleeping mat throughout the night both nights. Great (donation-based) showers to clean up! Incredible views, great access to Crater Lake NP just half hour away (traffic pending). Would definitely recommend!

They should really close some of the spots due to all the trees that they have cut down. This spot offered no shade whatsoever, nor any room for tents. Thankfully the bike path and resort do, which was the only redeeming parts of being here. It is a beautiful place but some spots are unusable.

No pictures of the site so did not realize how steep and challenging the site, and most others, are. We have somewhat limited mobility and this site prevented access to table, restrooms, tent site, anything but the vehicle pad. The restrooms and boat dock were nice, when we were able to get there. The roads in and out of the area are very long.

After one night, we decided to move to the Broken Arrow campground at the South end of the lake that was MUCH more accessible.

Had a great time camping, we fished alot. Didn't catch anything , there was a fishing derby the day before that might have had something to do with it . Kids really enjoyed cycling and kayaking.
