The site and services were very good. The campgrounds were quieted down quickly in the evening; restrooms were well stocked and clean. The only little issue with my stay was not due to the site, but the other “guests?” I had a few (minor) things taken off the picnic table during the day. Sadly other people can’t be trusted.

Very beautiful. Nice quiet campground with well spaced sites. The bathrooms and showers were nice and clean, although some shower heads did not work. Fees were very reasonable for a campground with flush toilets and showers. It was our first time visiting Diamond Lake. We stayed at various sites for a total stay of 5 nights. We will gladly stay there again.

If you can drive to the campground and make notes of the sites that will work for your setup prior to booking your camping trip, that would be advisable. Each site is unique and depending on your setup, even for tent camping, some sites may not work for you. Our site was advertised as being able to support our rig, and while we got it in (And barely got it out), the site was non-functional. There are many beautiful sites, but you need to know which ones are going to work for you in advance.

The Diamond Lake campground is beautiful, clean, and in a perfect place to quickly get to Crater Lake. Our site was right on the lake and it was wonderful to enjoy the sunset while having a fire. There are a lot of bathrooms close to the sites but only one shower building which wasn’t too big of a deal. I would love to stay at Diamond Lake again.

Diamond Lake is an awesome camping, bicycling and fishing destination, though you do need a boat to effectively fish the lake. The 11-mile bike/hike trail around is the lake is atreat. The past few years, however, have been disappointing with regard to campground maintenance. The winters can be severe, and sometimes water lines break. However, some bathrooms and water lines have not been repaired in over three years. USFS clearly needs to re-allocate some resources and catch up on maintenance.

Nice campground, tight fit for large RV's. Our site was tight due to trees not being pruned up for RV's. Had to back out when it was time to leave (I had a pull thru site). No one was at the check-in (ranger building), I just went to my site. The water source location was not working and did not have threads, although the spigot at the restrooms did work and had threads, be prepared to have long hose. Did not use the Dump Station as I did not think I'll fit. Be aware it's dry camping.

We went to Crater Lake. We rode our e-bikes around Diamond Lake, (est. 12 miles)
