What Guests Are Saying
East Lemolo Campground offers a pleasant experience close to Crater Lake, with clean facilities and a peaceful atmosphere for relaxation after a day in the park. However, there are issues with unmarked day use areas leading to unauthorized camping and some noise from nearby groups. While privacy may be limited for tent campers, the overall experience is enjoyable despite the presence of bugs.

There is a day use area at East Lemolo on the bank of the river. This is where the local campers go to fish. However, the day use is no longer clearly marked and people are pitching tents there without having to pay for a space. The concessionnaire said there is nothing they can do as it wasn't listed in their contract. This is extremely frustrating to the campers who came to the lake for bank fishing.

The campground was clean, restrooms clean. There isn't a lot of privacy if you are tent camping. There were a lot of noisy groups while we were there, though they did quiet down at quiet hours.

We were in space 12. This did not have enough suitable space to pull into this spot. It took us almost an hour to manage our way in. The triangle area in front of this space where the boat ramp sign is should be removed for ease into this space. Other than that it was great.

Great campground. Mostly really quiet. Nice spot to swim with the kayak boat launch. Good fishing. Clean bathroom. The resort is only 5 miles away to restock on any supplies or ice needed. Warning lots of skeeters and no fresh drinking water avail at the site.

This location was wonderful for paddling on Lemolo Lake, hiking to the headwaters, cycling around close-by Diamond Lake, and hiking the Silent Creek trail. All but a few campsites are fully exposed to the sun with little privacy shrubbery between, yet a very quiet campground. Day use boat launch and 3-car parking lot at the end of the campground. No hook ups or potable water. Vault toilets. Algae bloom in early August on the water.

This was our first adventure to East Lemolo but it won't be our last! I loved that it was away from the "main scene". More of a remote, small & quiet place. We took our travel trailer and stayed in spot #2 but I don't recommend this spot to set up. Very uneven parking it was a chore trying to get level LOL! If you have a travel trailer I would recommend spots 1,5 or 6 for good ones. There are a few other sites that would work but not as private. Easy access to the lake!!! Spot # 5 here we come!!!!
