This campground was decent. The smoke from fires eliminated the view, and there was all these particles all over in the lake (ash I think). The chipmunks jumped into my car while we were setting up the tent and they tore into my oatmeal. You could hear dogs barking for hours. But it was quiet at night.

Nice campground for minimalists, no power, water or sewer connection, no showers and only pit toilets. Great view of the Lake and Mt Thielsen. The 11+ mile paved bike/hike trail the circles the lake is great.

The whole experience was amazing. Stunning views, spacious campsite, clean grounds, etc. The only thing I didn't like was the vault toilets. I can't stand them because of how awful they smell, but I do have to say that these were some of the cleanest ones I've seen.
