The camp host was amazing! She was even able to get us an extra night on the 4th of July. Her dog is awesome too!

Thielsen View is one of my favorite campgrounds and is probably the absolute best place to camp if you are planning to visit crater lake. I was able to reserve just a couple weeks in advance. The view of Thielsen is spectacular, especially in the evenings. On a clear night, the stars over the lake with Thielsen in the back is amazing. Campsites and bathrooms are well kept and surprisingly well separated. The only downside is the mosquitos. The lake definitely breads them and they can be rather swarming some times of the year. But I wouldn't let that deter you from this wonderful site.

Very clean and comfortable campground. Overall good experience. My only concern is that the campground host never checked to see if I was the person who reserved the site I was in. I could have simply taken the site.
Good campground
