A nice well maintained state park with a long history dating back to the Oregon trail. Bathrooms and showers were on site and clean. Plenty of trails to explore. I would recommend sites further away from I-84 as there is constant traffic noise near the freeway.

The Highway noise is intense for anyone wanting full hook-ups. This completely overshadows the kind attentive hosts, clean bathrooms and showers and walking paths

Beautiful place to camp, but the freeway noise is unbearable. It’s not the park’s fault, you can’t fix it. I ride a motorcycle so I had earplugs.

Great service, well cared for. Cramped spaces though, so pack lightly. We are repeat visitors bc it is close, but would not choose here for long vacations. You can hear the highway traffic CONSTANTLY. The park provides good sized wood purchases, currently $7 for what amounts to 2 1/2 wrapped wood bundles from stores. A bit light in the kindling, so bring a decent fire starter.

Beautiful campground, easy access, hosts were very attentive. Some spaces were a little small so check your dimensions, especially if you have more than 2 people. Road noise is constant but a little quieter in the spaces away from the road.
