Really enjoyed Haystack Campground (East Shore). The campground is very nice and well maintained with clean vault toilets. The views are beautiful. The camp host was the most proactive host I’ve ever seen. Very helpful to all campers, constantly checking and cleaning toilets, etc. I would highly recommend this campground.

Love this campground - most of the sites are large, often there’s almost no one else here, and Steve the host does a great job and is a wonderful person.

The water in the reservoir was very low. Campground was clean and well maintained. Loved the sunset view with Mt. Jefferson beyond the lake. We drove into the Ochocos and hiked up Lookout Mtn, with wildflowers and views.
