What a great little spot!! Perched on a bluff overlooking a winding creek with fields beyond, there is shade and sun, and just enough amenities- a hot shower outdoors, porta potty, and comfy platform with mattress. You can pitch your tent on the platform, but I just chose to sleep under the stars. There's an outdoor gazebo area (shared use) with an electric tea pot power strip (for charging devices), and more. At no extra charge there's a sweet doggie, Roscoe, to pat- but guard your dinner carefully- he's interested!! The host, Season, is very friendly and welcoming without being "in the way". I thoroughly enjoyed my stay there.

Set in a beautiful coastal forest in the dunes. Sometimes you can hear the dune buggies, but not overly close. Campsites have good separation and some privacy.

Nice location with easy access to Oregon Dunes via a short trail from the campground. They did not have water service in September 2021. There was water across the road at the state park, so I don't know what the problem was. No indication of when it will be back up. So there were only port-a-potties offered as service. Not sure if the regular bathrooms have showers when there is water. There are probably better places to camp and enjoy the dunes.

The campground is very nice in the lay out and space between sites. It has lots of vegetation to provide shade and privacy. The sand dunes are closer than they appear (or don't). Have fun with that. BUT-there was no water in the campground. There was no advanced warning about there being no water at the campground, so we had to go to some lengths to get water after we got there. That also meant the bathroom were closed and we were relegated to port-a-potties during a pandemic! Also, our picnic table (site#16) was missing about half of it--apparently consumed by bigfoot, as it wasn't a tidy job. Eel Creek Campground does not deserve such poor treatment.
